horrid day.

evidence of earlier tussle and pandemonium: my creased german books.

i dont think any words can describe the horror and heartbreak i felt when i saw them flung onto the floor, in a heartless fit of rage.

beneath the sea of strewn papers. the creases, streaks on the plastic wrapping. imprinted onto my heart instantly.

they shall serve as a reminder from now on, of the horrible day i had.

it shall never happen again.

i'm sorry. but i'm not having an easy time either.

soon, all these will become yet another unpleasant yet distant memory. just like how the blinds-wringing, chair-toppling, and leaving a scared little girl in the hallway to cry alone in the old house of the past have now become mere fuzzy images.

but i still wonder, how can such nasty words come out of a christian's mouth?

and, is it wrong to resent someone who is your father?

why cant we ever communicate???

i shld have never opened my mouth.

recent addiction that keeps me awake in lectures:

:P

and sthg over the AIG furore,

Iowa Senator recently spat out that he'd feel little better if AIG's execs will
"follow the Japanese example and come before the American people and take that deep bow and say I'm sorry, and then either do one or two things: resign or commit suicide."

spoken with just a teensy bit of childish spite perhaps, but i am in total agreement.

those bastards. responsible for bringing the financial system to its knees and still gobbling up bonuses like it's the most natural thing in the world.

i mean, come on, how hard is it to say I'M SORRY???????

very hard, apparently.

unlike japanese public figures (from politicians to artistes) who take a deep bow and apologize in the media's glare (and resign if the mistake is serious enough), those american self-made masters of the world only know how to give feeble excuses (like contract rigidities) for their acts,

and continue to feed their repulsive bulging tummies with ill-deserved gains.

shame on them.

to my darling ellen:

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!
